Making healthcare easy and accessible with MyNurse
Nkomor is a UK-based healthcare startup providing a complete platform for medical services across Africa. To expand its reach and improve healthcare accessibility, Nkomor is launching MyNurse in 2025. MyNurse is a hybrid telehealth service that offers virtual nurse consultations and in-person care at partner pharmacies. Designed to be accessible and trustworthy, MyNurse will serve everyone, including underserved communities, in the UK and Africa in the future.

Show appointment status (e.g., Pending, Confirmed, Rescheduled Requested) on the home screen to keep users informed.
Let users quickly adjust or cancel appointments when needed.
Make rebooking easy for returning users while keeping the process smooth for new users.

Learnings
Iteration and collaboration made the difference
I started this project from almost scratch and quickly learned the power of teamwork and iteration. Regular feedback and discussions helped us test ideas, understand what worked (and what didn’t), and keep improving. The platform continues to evolve, but this experience reinforced that great design comes from collaboration and continuous refinement.
